Hi everyone...K-Fi here! I'm a Voorheesville native and went to University at Buffalo for college. I've spent time traveling, waitressing, backpacking and ski bumming. After settling into a professional job for a few years, I realized that I'm just not cut out for it. In 2016, I left my job to join HIWB as a trainer and start my own dog walking business!
As a lifelong athlete and outdoor enthusiast, finding myself working at HIIT it with Britt is no surprise. I joined HIWB in November of 2015 because I was bored of my exerise routine. I only expected a workout, but gained hundreds of friends, a new career and a positive place to belong.
What song gets you pumped up?
IDK- you pick one!
What is it about HIWB and group fitness?
THE PEOPLE! Definitely.
If you could be any animal, what would you be and why?
I know you’re going to say “of course she says a dog”…but seriously a dog. What a life!
Post workout snack?
Perfect Sunday afternoon activity?
Are you expecting me to say “going hiking” or “finding an adventure”? If I said that it’d be a lie. Since it’s our only true day off, I really love a quiet Sunday. I usually use the time to catch up on things that I didn’t get to during the week. It could be shopping, cooking, chores or napping.
Most challenging exercise movement and why?
Anything that requires balance. Single leg RDL…I don’t even try…
Best advice you ever received?
If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always got.
Food you can’t live without?
Three words to describe you.
Honest, loyal, hard-working.
Morning or evening workout?
Morning. I turn into a pumpkin at 3 PM.
Favorite workout shoe?
Nike Metcons. Cliche, I know.
Your biggest accomplishment?
My biggest accomplishment is making the commitment to a life that may not be traditional, but makes me happy.
Challenge = Change
Cliche again…Ryan Gosling
Favorite season and why?
Summer! I love swimming, sunshine, floating, being hot, wearing shorts…pretty much everything about it!
